Curriculum Writing Retreat
ABOUT visionary Change Agent
At Visionary Change Agent, we actively work to co-create inclusive spaces that encourage feelings of belonging and high self-efficacy beliefs. Building on the success of our virtual anti-bias programs since 2020, we are expanding our offerings to serve educators who work on creating inclusive learning spaces in their classrooms and schools. In February of 2026, we launched the Visionary Change Agent Institute, a new nonprofit entity specializing in professional development for educators. The inaugural Curriculum Writing Retreat will take place on August 3-7, 2026 at Rainier Tower at Inatai Foundation Offices, 1301 5th Avenue, Suite 2600 Seattle, WA 98101.
One of the many unique aspects of our new programming is that the Curriculum Writing Retreat will result in a creation of innovative curriculum and units/lessons educators can implement at their respective schools, all depending on community readiness. Take the School Readiness Quiz to focus on curriculum that will best fit your school. We will use guided inquiry and other Applied Learning Methods.
Tentative schedule for the week.
